A Grant-Funded Celebration of Health, Strength & Sisterhood

Mobileyes and Dental Foundation Ltd is honoured to be one of only eleven organisations across NSW to receive a grant from the NSW Women’s Week Grant Program 2026

This March, we’re hosting a special series of three events — two delivered onsite at NSW high schools and one open to the public — all focused on empowering girls and  women from diverse backgrounds on eye & dental care, nutrition and resilience workshops.

3 Events

Monday 2 March:

Liverpool Girls High School (students only)

Time: 9.00 – 3.00pm

Wednesday 4 March

Blacktown Girls High School (students only)

Time: 9.00 – 3.00pm

Saturday 7 March – FULL

Regent St Pavilion (DOOLEYS), Regents Park

(Free public community event – open to women & girls with registration)

What the Day Includes

Each event delivers a powerful mix of free health services and personal development sessions, morning tea and lunch across three integrated components:

Free Eye-Care Clinic

  • Vision checks by qualified optometrists
  • Free prescription glasses for those in need
  • Referrals for further care
  • Eye health education

Free Dental Clinic

  • Dental preventive treatments in our mobile van or portable setup
  • Fluoride treatments and dental hygiene advice
  • Free toothbrush kits for all participants
  • Dental education program

Empowerment Workshops

Led by inspiring experts in mental fitness, nutrition, leadership and resilience, participants will enjoy:

  • Confidence and leadership building
  • Mental wellbeing strategies
  • Healthy eating & body image education
  • Real stories from strong leaders

Morning tea, delicious & nutritious lunch as well as goody bags and food parcels will be provided.

Who Can Attend

This program is designed for high school girls and women , with a focus on multicultural, low-income, and under-served communities.

  • The first two events are for enrolled students only (Liverpool Girls and Blacktown Girls High Schools).
  • The third event at Regent St Pavilion (DOOLEYS), Regents Park on Saturday, 7 March is NOW FULL. Registration is closed.

Meet the Speakers & Workshop Leaders

Dr Andrea Eliastam & Dr Nancy Ordakji

Co-Founders, Mobileyes and Dental Foundation Ltd

The visionary women behind this entire initiative, Andrea and Nancy are passionate optometrists and advocates for accessible health care, youth wellbeing and empowering communities through preventative care.

They will share their journeys as female founders and health professionals, and lead several of the empowerment sessions.

Jake Biggs

Accredited Clinical Nutritionist & Motivational Wellbeing Speaker, Nutrition Longevity

Jake’s story of surviving mental health issues and a brain tumour has become the foundation of his life’s mission — to help others thrive through nutrition, mental resilience and purpose. As a clinical nutritionist and motivational speaker, he teaches youth how to build their strongest body and mind using the four pillars of health: nutrition, sleep, exercise and stress management.

Dr Elizabeth King

Founder & Director, Metta

Scientist turned entrepreneur, Dr Elizabeth King is a leadership mentor, author, and advocate for women’s mental wellbeing. A board member of the World Federation for Mental Health, she teaches young women that it’s possible to lead with both success and self-compassion. Her sessions focus on resilience, mindset, and unlocking leadership potential.

Clare Pearson

CEO, Little Wings

Finalist, NSW Women of the Year Awards 2026

Clare Pearson is the CEO of Little Wings, a service providing specialist medical clinics across regional Australia and connecting seriously ill children with FREE air and ground transport to access life-saving medical treatment in major cities.

This NSW Women’s Week 2026, in partnership with Mobile Eyes and Dental Foundation, Clare will highlight the power of collaboration, the importance of girls and women in raising their voice to challenge the norms that limit their health, their opportunities or their self-care and ultimately, be the CEO of their own lives… you only get one, so make it count.

Kathleen Donohoe

CEO, A Start in Life

Kathleen leads a national charity dedicated to educational equity for disadvantaged students. Her session focuses on opportunity, grit, and goal-setting, inspiring attendees to believe in their future — regardless of background.

Amy Yu

Mobileyes and Dental Foundation Ltd, Optometrist and Workshop Speaker

Amy graduated from UNSW in 2021 with a Bachelor of Vision Science and a Master of Clinical Optometry. Amy is proud to support local schools and students, reigniting her passion for paediatric optometry, helping students reach their full potential through better vision.

Reynard Tay

Mobileyes and Dental Foundation Ltd, Optometrist and Workshop Speaker

Rey is a therapeutically endorsed optometrist based in Wollongong, New South Wales who completed a Bachelor of Vision Science/Master of Clinical Optometry in 2023. Rey has a special interest in paediatric eye care, with a strong focus on supporting children’s vision, learning and overall eye health.

Basera Hosainy

Mobileyes and Dental Foundation Ltd, Dental Clinician and Workshop Speaker

Basera is a dental hygienist with over 10 years of experience in the dental field, dedicated to providing free dental services to public schools and the wider community. She is passionate about community outreach and preventive dentistry.
